The role of SGTA is to identify promising start-ups and to take them to the next level of pilot projects, commercialization and identifying global markets for them.
Dr Bala Surya Kumble is the Executive Chair of Global Knowledge Alliance, a Cross Border Education initiative. He is also an Advisor to AUAP (over 160 Universities) – Association of Asia and the Pacific Universities (AUAP), and Innovation, R&D Advisor to the AUAP to help develop Industry oriented R&D. He is also the Chair of Clarion Analytics an undertaking of NextOmics Pty Ltd. – a Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Product and Solutions company, based out of Australia and Executive Chair of Sierra Biolife a Biosecurity initiative.
Dr. Bala Kumble has over 40 years’ experience in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) industry, Satellite Communications and Navigation, Navigational aids & avionics, Biomedical, Mining and Smart Grid technology. Dr Kumble’s interests include commercialisation of innovation in ICT, design and delivery of telecommunication networks, Mining innovation & mining communications, Smart Grid technology design & implementation, Medical Science and environmentally friendly technology innovation & implementation, education, and Tele Health.
Dr Kumble on the Editorial Board of a Book on Inperoperability of Multimedia Networks, The Netherlands. Dr Kumble was awarded the IEEE Millennium Medal for outstanding contributions. Dr Bala Kumble has been listed in Marquis World’s Who is Who. Dr Kumble is the Chair of IEEE AgriTech & Engineering Group. Dr Kumble was selected as Life Senior Member of IEEE. Dr Kumble is based in Melbourne, Australia.
